When I launch the VPN Client, the application hide at the taskbar.I tried to reinstall the VPN Client software but it only works for a day. On the following day, same problem reoccur.
That problem can be fixed by editing the vpnclient.ini file inside the “C:\Program Files\Cisco Systems\VPN Client” folder.
1. Open the folder “C:\Program Files\Cisco Systems\VPN Client”
2. Single click on the file “vpnclient.ini”
3. Right-click and open with “Notepad” or open using “Edit”
You can edit the following lines :
If you have numbers bigger than 42949 like 4294916329, simply delete everything but the first five numbers, and leave 42949 (or use smaller values), that worked for me.
Finally, ‘Save’ and ‘Close’ the file after editing. Launch the VPN Client software again.
