Download the IP Communicator.
Right click to the .exe file and press run as admin
Click the Cisco IP Communicator Wizard and follow the instructions
Press Next Button to accept all warnings
Accept the License Agreements and click Next
It will prompt for changing setup location folder but we have to accept default location and press Next button
Now press the install button to proceed installation :
Installation process will take few minutes

Before Installation it prompts you to verify the publisher and select Install this driver software anyway
Installation Wizards successfully completed
After pressing the finish button restart required for the installation.
After rebooting the machine follow the steps :
Press start button, select Cisco IP communicator under in Cisco IP Communicator tab folder right click and select Run as Administrator.
Tune Audio devices.
Press Next button
Press play button and adjust the volume accordingly.
Adjust your microphone volume and press next button.
Audio Tuning Wizard has been completed and will reflect below screen
Press Ok button to select Network Interface to register with Cisco Soft Phone.
Change the TFTP and Device name settings. If you can’t see the following screen please follow the steps
Add the IP address 112.168.172.20 in TFTP Server 1 field.
Select “Use this Device Name” box and copy the device name allocated to you.
Cisco Soft Phone will start launching the setup
Your Cisco Soft phone is all set to communicate.
Change TFTP and device name. Click on Menu Button.
Select Preferences
Select Network Tab and change the required fields.
